Phuket, Thailand — arrival guide

Phuket Arrival Guide

Phuket International Airport · Thailand · International Arrivals = Terminal 1, ground floor

✓ Hand-verified 14 Sep 2026 · Hot & humid year-round: 27–33 °C · driest and calmest Nov–Apr

Phuket is an island, and that changes everything about arrivals: distances are longer, taxis cost more, and the beach you want may be an hour from the runway. This guide sorts your first two hours — the TDAC form, every real transport option with honest prices, where the ATMs and SIM counters are — then points you at the viewpoints, old town streets and seafood that make the island unforgettable.
